Catrap was an unknown puzzle game originally released for the Game Boy more than 20 years ago. Since then it has been forgotten until recently when people started playing on the Internet and it has been gaining in popularity ever since. The gameplay of the game withstood the test of time and is as exciting today as it was all those years ago. Thanks to the time rewinding mechanics of the game people have found it a gem.

Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Braid have all included a modern version of this time rewinding and the idea has become very popular. Many people would love to erase their mistakes. You mess up badly and then simply rewind the game to a point before you messed up and have another opportunity to try again. Catrap was the very first game to include this hidden gem of time and now gamers all over the world are finding it a favorite feature once again. This is a fantastic way to play a game and going back in time is an unforgettable experience.

In Catrap, two kids called Catboy and Catgirl are trapped in an underground facility and must negotiate 100 puzzle rooms filled with monsters. Once they escape they are restored to human form. To vanquish the monsters you need to touch them, but they are not easily accessible. You have to break through concrete walls, climb up dodgy ladders, move obstacles out of the way and many more.

During the first few chambers the task seems easy, but as you progress the difficulty level is enhanced and you have to explore every part of your brain to painfully proceed with your quest. It's a brain boggling puzzle from the past and if you were around in the 80s and 90s you may even have played the original game back then.

Modern puzzles force you to lose a life or restart from where you died, but this one allows you to go back to the exact point before you made the error. This is a very convenient feature and a lot of frustration is avoided which makes the game so loveable. Sometimes you need to try a number of different strategies before you get it right. Being able to rewind the game is a refreshing experience, instead of playing all over again.

The revival of Catrap is a nice reminder that old technologies are not totally forgotten and reminds us that there are many more gems out there that we may still enjoy. Catrap is a fantastic trip back to the past and playing it again will provide you plenty of fun and entertainment.

Perhaps many more developers will think about bringing back some old classics of the past that will add some new magic to the gaming world.

Have you ever met the most beautiful person you have ever seen? You are so impressed with their beauty and good looks that you fall instantly in love and for the next few days or even weeks you are infatuated beyond belief. Then you realize that the person is boring and uninteresting and your infatuation fades. It's happened to all of us.

Okabu is like that beautiful person. It has been blessed with the most beautiful graphics and artwork. The scenery is fantastic, displaying sharp, clear graphics and pictures. But the actual gameplay is tedious and boring. The puzzles are explained to such an extent that you solve them without any challenge. The situations and obstacles are so easy to overcome you can probably do them blindfolded.

The main characters are two cloud whales called Nimbe and Kumulo. You originally lived in the sky above but have left your home to find the pollution that's killing off your race. On earth you find an evil race called the Doza. They are destroying the earth with pollution and toxic waste. You eventually meet the Yoruba who are a race also trying to save the earth. You resort to guerilla tactics and fight the Doza. You must destroy all the inventions the Doza have created as it is harmful to the earth and environment.

The whales can fly and they can also absorb fluids. Early in the game they water the earth in this manner. They can also spit oil making paths which can be lit with fire. The whales are made from clouds so their abilities seem interesting and fun. But the tasks they perform throughout the game are the same and eventually repetitively doing the same thing over and over kills the game. The obstacles are limited and you will eventually foresee what lies ahead and just do more of the same.

There are creatures that mount the whales and ride them. The riders can shoot at enemies and other characters, but again you will be doing so much of that, it will eventually become boring and tedious. You don't have to do any thinking as the game is so easy even a child can accomplish all the tasks without any difficulty.

You can choose co-op mode but this doesn't make the game any more interesting or exciting. You may as well play solo, there is no difference. The music is quite good, but other than that, the game is a lack luster adventure that fails miserably.

Perhaps if the developers made it more challenging and added a lot more depth to the storyline it could have been the perfect game

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (Madagascar ps3 kids games) is an entertaining and fun game for children of all ages. The story line keeps young players interested in learning. The story of Madagascar is somewhat different from other kids ps3 games, instead of one constant plot it is divided into multiple sets of mini games. From start to end players engage in performing a number of mini games, which are linked together forming the story line. Some are fast paced and a bit challenging while others are more slow paced and friendlier to the younger ages.

This kids ps3 game offers every thing for the whole family, just as the movie does. Youngsters will find the plot and game play interesting and motivating. This game picks up from where the Madagascar movie left off. The graphics are great and has the feel of the movie. You will find a few minimal changes in the characters, but the developers did an excellent job recreating the characters for game play. The actual game play is where Madagascar exceeds; players will enjoy every minute of it. Players control their favorite characters jumping from here to there, climbing walls, and playing dodge ball with mangoes.

If you are looking for a fun game that doesn't involve fighting and killing for young kids then you won't be disappointed. You can select your favorite character, listen to your selected movie tracks and play at your favorite Madagascar locations. The PS3 kids game does not need any special skills to be played, it is fairly easy but it does not mean it is boring. The fast paced mini games are especially exciting. You constantly keep moving from one game to other that keeps you engaged in the fun. This game has a lot to offer, it is not just "one plot one weapon" kind of game. There are plenty of multiplayer options that will be a blast for a party.

I am quite taken by farming simulation games lately and I have thought of writing bout them for a bit. I have already written about Zynga's Facebook title, FarmVille. Unfortunately, I have lost interest in the game, or at the very least, postponed playing until such time as I would again, fancy playing a casual browser game.

As for my recent affliction, Harvest Moon has been a long standing franchise from Japan. It was created by Yasuhiro Wada way back in 1996, and produced by Victor Interactive Software, which was Marvelous Interactive acquired back in 2003. Now, unlike FarmVille, Harvest Moon is a full RPG/farming simulation/life simulation game. It was first published for the SNES but has since been adapted to various Nintendo console systems from the hand-held Game Boy to the GameCube, as well as Sony's PlayStation system. Currently there are six Harvest Moon titles for the Wii console, of which one is for the Virtual Console, another is a WiiWare, while still another is a spin-off under the Rune Factory title. Some track list, huh?

Anyway, I have been an avid RPG fan and player since I was first exposed to Final Fantasy VII back in 1997. So far, there are not much titles for the Wii when it comes to RPGs so when I saw that there is a Harvest Moon title for my console, I tried to look it up.

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade is the first game I've ever played in the series. I have been playing it for two days now, I think, and I find it entertaining and at times a bit challenging. The game basically starts with you creating your game avatar, then the customary tutorial. The basic plot concerns the deterioration of the Harvest Tree. You have to revive the five Harvest Sprites to save the whole region from doom. Unlike other games, you do not have to start on the save-the-region quest right away. You can choose to live out your life just playing farmer and producer without actively pursuing the storyline. Though there will eventually be some prodding towards the completion of the game plot, you can go and finish them at your own pace.

As stated before, Harvest Moon: Animal Parade is primarily a farming/life simulation game. It has the same basic concepts as FarmVille, though the intricacies of their gameplays vary greatly. What I like about Harvest Moon is that I do not have to rely on the fickle gift giving of my social network to advance. Also, playing console games suit me better since I can lounge and camp on my couch and play for hours whereas with games like FarmVille, I have to find something else to do and come back again to check up on your crops. Then again, the two games are geared towards two different kinds of player base, so basically, it just boils down to what kind of player you are.

Chess is an interesting and entertaining game of position that requires lot of understanding, alertness, and smartness to win. It is played between two people on a square board with 64 squares on it. Both the opponents have to constantly evaluate the position of the pieces used in the game to achieve the objective of the game i.e to checkmate the opponent's king.

The chess board with alternate black and white squares is divided into 8 rows known as 'Ranks' and 8 columns known as 'Files'. Each player takes control of the selected black or white pieces. There are about 16 pieces with 1 king, 1 queen, 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, and 8 pawns and each has its own distinctive move on the chess board. Each player with their own set of 16 pieces starts playing the game and the one who attack's the opponent's king leaving no move or square for escape wins the game. This situation where the opponent's king has no move left is called the checkmate, the objective of the game.

Now let's talk about the distinctive move of each piece. It's really important to keep all the specific moves in mind because one small mistake can make the player lose the game. When it comes to pawn movement, it can move only 1 or 2 square before its own position or 1 square diagonally. The diagonal movement can also take place only if the opponent's piece is positioned on the square diagonal to its own position. Knight can move in a style forming a capital 'L' shape on the game board but the best part is that it can jump pieces. It's most interesting when it comes to moving the queen as the queen has the freedom to move anywhere on the board. Queen can move any number of squares in any direction. Bishop can also move any number of squares but its movement is limited on a diagonal path. When moving the rook, keep in mind like the bishop it can also move any number of squares but only on a straight path whether front, back, or side but no movement can be made diagonally. And lastly, the king can move in all possible directions to immediate squares.

So, now what are you thinking? Start playing and check how smart and how alert your mind is. Nothing can be mastered without trying and implementing. With the basics you can try playing it once and then gradually you'll master the chess game

Lady Gaga is certainly someone to start a conversation about. From her bold looks to her cutting edge music, this rising star is a forced to be reckoned with in the music world. Focusing in on her look specifically though, Lady Gaga is always coming out with new wigs, costumes and makeup that defy all logic but seemingly work for her. This crazy character has actually inspired an array of Lady Gaga games for people to play online at any time. If you are in love with the star and want to play a game about her, read below to figure out exactly what you might be looking at.

All of the Lady Gaga games that are out are about dressing up the star in some way. You are either given a manikin or just a head to work with, and then you are given a series of wigs, clothes, makeup and accessories to make a look for Lady Gage that is all your own. You can give her bright blue eye shadow with hot pink hair, or you could keep things nice and subtle. Either way, there is a lot of room to play around when you're bored, so these games are definitely something to check out.

The great thing about the Lady Gaga games that are out right now is that they are almost all free to play. All you have to do is go to the site that the game is on and you can play dress up with Lady Gaga for no cost at all. You get to cycle through some of the standard crazy costumes she might wear, and you can really make a new look for her. Anything you've wanted to see on Lady gaga but haven't can be artificially created while you play the game. You are in total control.

Lady Gaga games are so much fun, and they are easy enough for anyone to play. It doesn't matter if you're a 20 year old fashionista or a 70 year old computer newbie, you can play with this iconic music legend whenever you want. Throw in a CD of hers to get you in the mood to design or turn on a video that she may have done. After seeing the bold looks that she has every single day, you might evaluate the look you were going for. Just don't get addicted to the games and you should be set.

Chloe Torre Has been involved in fashion since she left school originally as a shop assistant in a clothes shop in the the west end of London. It wasn't long before she started to design her own bespoke clothes for family and friends since then she has moved into fashion accessories and has a large collection of fashion and practical glasses based on famous people including lady gaga glasses along with other's like Elton John.

There would still be video game systems today, but perhaps they wouldn't have developed so quickly if it weren't for Super Mario Bros. This one game created a virtual race that led to the current battle for video game marketplace domination that exists today. Super Mario Brothers took the US by storm back in 1985 and catapulted Nintendo into the giant corporation it is today. It's worth a look into this game to see why it became so successful and why it's still revered by fans.

Before this game there wasn't much along the lines of side-scrolling action games featuring a human looking character. You could play Pong, Space Invaders, or Pac-Man on the Atari if you had one. When Super Mario Brothers hit American homes it was like nothing kids had seen up until that point. Here was an identifiable character with 2 arms and legs just like a real person. He can run, he can jump, and can shoot fire. he can get bigger, and shrink. And you are in control of it all! Plus there are levels with increasing difficulty and a common objective. There's a timer so you'd better hurry. Saving the princess from a castle and an evil dragon is a classic theme used in many fairy tales. Letting kids control the main character on this quest was a recipe for roaring success.

From a technological standpoint the game was remarkable. When you compare it to what was available at the time it was really no contest. Take Pac-Man for example. It's very addictive and it's basically a yellow circle that moves around a single, stationary board eating smaller circles and running away from 4 ghosts. Super Mario Brothers offered an entire world to explore. It even had secrets to find and tricks you could do. Rather than a yellow circle Mario looks a lot like the average Joe Plumber.

Giving Mario power ups was the brightest idea to come out of Nintendo. Every kid and most adults wish they could get a power up and feel invincible. Shooting fire balls and killing turtle shaped bad guys is immensely fun for some reason. Getting a star and buzzing through a level without being able to get hurt is loads of fun. These types of special abilities are themes that come up in almost every future Nintendo game featuring Mario and his friends. For example, in Mario Kart you can get the invincible star and knock your opponents off the track. You can also shoot turtle shell missiles at them.

It was truly a groundbreaking game, and to this day many Nintendo fans still make Mario the king of video game characters. It all started with the original Super Mario Brothers

The successor of this Logitech G25 itself, is the Logitech G27, which got released in 2010.

This wheel is considered as a wheel of a higher class, across from other wheels, it has a 3-pedal set and a loose 6 speed H-shifter pattern and a better finish. We'll see immediate a difference between the cheaper, plastic feeling steering-wheels and this piece of marksmanship The price at this moment varies from EUR 200 to 300 and USD 199.99 to 299.99. Logitech aims at the real racing SIMracing freak who love to have a solid steering-wheel without buying a professional one, which costs easily EUR 999.99 or USD 799.99.

The Mounting of the steering-wheel equals most of the steering-wheels, there are 2 gripes with knobs that has to be tightened upon the desk. An extra feature, that comes in welcome for the serious driving, is the option to attach it to a raceframe with screws.

Steering-wheel
The wheel itself includes some nice features and looks good, it's bigger than most with his diameter of 270 mm and got the Logitech logo on. With the larger size and leather wrapped steering-wheel, it resembles more to a real wheel. The range of the wheel is up to 900 degrees, a full 2.5 turns lock-to-lock. The steering wheel itself is quite basic with only 2 paddle shifters mounted on the back of it and further, 2 buttons at the front of the wheel.

Force Feedback
The SIMulation part get done by 2 Force Feedback motors, who SIMulate the real driving experience The force feedback of this wheel is quite excellent. Contrary to its processors, the driving force effects are more refined and the effects of the Force Feedback is more fluent. The motors are silent and there's hardly a noise when steering.

Pedal set
The pedal set with chrome look includes 3 pedals, an accelerator with light spring, a brake with heavy spring and a clutch-pedal with medium spring. Those 3 pedals are mounted on a platform with a carpet grip.

6 speed H-shifter unit
The shifter unit is, in contrast to the basic steering-wheel, really broken bride and features a lot of buttons and extras. The main part of the shifter unit, is the gear stick with leather know and metal rod with a 6 speed H-shifter. The Logitech G25 shifting gear set also includes 8 buttons, 1 D-pad and a switch, with which you can change the gear setting from 6 speed H-shifter pattern to the sequential up-down mode

BrickBreaker has become one of the most popular classic BlackBerry games and scoring the highest has become an addictive competition amongst BlackBerry users. However, if you are not equipped with the right tips and strategies, you can only wonder at scores as high as 10,000 to 20000 and more.

The first thing that high-scorers must remember about BrickBreaker is that surviving the game is more important than checking your score. If you can concentrate on getting to level 34 and beating it twice, your score automatically shoots up from the 3rd cycle onwards.

After beating level 34 the first time you go back to level one but during this second round the ball moves faster. But if you manage to reach the last level once again, in the third round the ball speed goes back to the initial slow speed, which makes it much easier to play. And the best part is that the slow speed remains a constant after the third cycle but the higher scores rates remain the same. This way, you can continue breaking higher and higher scores without having to stress too much about it.

However even while playing for the first few rounds, there's no harm knowing certain tricks to save those lives for later when you will really need them. It is advisable to start shots from the middle rather than sides as the ball usually bounces haywire in the latter case. The trick is to be patient and play safe instead of trying to score during the first two rounds. Also being focused on the ball is necessary. Your playing situation also helps a lot. Avoid playing in moving trains, cars or places where you can't sit steady. It is also important that you hold the BlackBerry with both your hands so that you get a better grip and control. As soon as you reach the third cycle, you can start achieving those amazingly high scores.

As you go higher up in the game, the ball speed will increase till it slows down again on the third cycle. So you will have to focus on controlling your ball properly before you can score high. You will need to train yourself for handling the speed on the second cycle during your initial stages in the game. This will also make sure that you have a much easier time when the score rate goes up and the ball slows down again.

One last crucial thing to remember is that the special capsules can be both good and bad. It really depends on which level you are on in order for you to decide whether a given capsule is bad or good. So keep a sharp watch on the effects of each capsule and choose accordingly. This will help you avoid unnecessary complications and life losses. Furthermore, choose your ball launching point carefully. Sometimes, launching it a few clicks away from the center can really help you get more impact

Improvements in video games are mostly influenced by competition. THQ has a strong business relationship with Wrestling Entertainment, which serves as a downfall to gamers because they do not get the best product available. The NFL Madden series is very similar to SVR in this respect, and the product suffers as there is no competition.

One of the few things that I think SVR does really well is the backstage brawls. There is plenty of weapons to use and places to throw your opponent, including a couch or a soda machine. As a player, you always wish you could do more though. I would like to see being able to jump off of objects backstage like tables. Shouldn't there be a point that everything in the game can be used? Why have doors backstage that you cannot open? Even if there is nothing in that room throughout the entire game, it at least hides the restrictions in the game.

Alright, now to the core of the game, the in-game fighting. I think all gamers will have a problem with a 175 pound wrestler picking up the Big Show. They do make a weaker wrestler struggle to get Big Show up for a suplex, but he still is able to pick him up. Why not just have that small of wrestlers be incapable of suplexing that large of wrestlers? I think the change would be easy, but THQ would then have to decide how to balance the game so Big Show doesn't always win. How about make it if the superstar cannot suplex the opponent, he goes for the legs to try to take him down? If the wrestler cannot do it's finisher or signature on the outside of the ring, they game edits the move to something else. So instead of making the superstars being able to take down every wrestler without much difficulty, how about make it so instead of suplexing the opponent, he does like 3 or 4 running kicks to his legs to take him down? That would make me feel much better about the game I am playing when I see Rey Mysterio take out Big Show's legs, rather than suplexing him to the ground.

Something else that needs changing is allowing partners to interfere in moves as they are taking place. Shawn Michaels is setting up his finisher on his opponent which takes a few seconds and his partner just has to watch him get kicked right in the face. This change may be the most difficult change, because they would have to edit a partner counter to every move. As time consuming as that could be, it is something that would take the game to the next level. There should be more emphasis on the power of a team and make it very difficult to beat a team with great teamwork. Also, once you have this change implemented into the game, it will be able to used in future Wrestling Entertainment games as well.

As I think those other changes would be the most helpful to the game, I think a sweet subtle change would be to have tag team finishers. There is a point in the game where the game shows Triple H and Shawn Michaels using there finishers together when Michaels hit his Sweet Chin Music followed by Triple H's Pedigree, but it is not available for use in gameplay. The developers could have all kinds of fun trying to intertwine two finishers with each other to make an incredible tag team finisher. It seems like such an easy addition to the game and it would make tag team play much more exciting.

The mechanics of the game are in definite need. I hope they address the idea of an 175 pound superstar picking up a 500 pound giant. There are many options to fix this, but I believe my additions would really help this game stand out.

Today, the young people - teenagers - have different searches or goals. Whether they are avid readers or they prefer to do homework, it's easier and more pleasant to choose a modern version of a laptop. The laptop is a faithful friend of many of us, especially those who like to play games on laptops.

But first of all, it's particularly important to know what a laptop demands from all points of view; I think the most demanding part is the price. Regarding the technical side, we must have deep knowledge in order to buy it according to our needs. If you want a special design or a different brand, you should definitely know that you must be prepared with a fairly large amount of money. If not, you will have to limit yourself to the budget that you have.

For those who want a gaming laptop, the design is not so important or...shouldn't be. Quality matters to them. They need a good configuration. The video card must be the best, and if you don't know what to choose, it's better to ask an expert, because, in my opinion, the video card is almost everything for gamers. Without a video card, your patience will suffer, the games will run slowly enough and you will lose all enthusiasm. So you have to pay attention. Be careful what you are looking for. My advice is to search, however, on the internet for any information; it happens that some "experts" are not up to date on the latest technology.

Even if we don't really need a gaming laptop, we must have a very good RAM memory and also a strong hard drive. Photos, files, music and video take up space in the computer's hard drive. Current games can occupy as much as 30+GB of hard drive space and in general, having plenty of free space on your hard drive improves performance and load times. Less than 320GB is just too small. There are games that need a high-performance processor, but there are others that work best only with a special hard drive. Maybe you can't have both, it's important to have one of them.

No one who has a passion for games will choose a regular PC instead of an upgraded configuration laptop. The real advantages that the gaming laptop offers are miles better: webcam, microphone, multi-card reader, USB ports, etc. There are important factors to consider when we buy a laptop, such as the size, dimensions, and resolution capabilities of a laptop display; 15, 17, 18 or even 20+ inch displays are available on gaming laptops. Also, the power of a high-end gaming laptop isn't cheap. Generally, manufacturers offer a one year warranty that covers any hardware defects. It's always necessary to take a look at the option of an extended warranty.

In the future, the computers will disappear surely, because laptops are more practical and in higher demand. Therefore, if you're thinking about buying a laptop, it's good to be a powerful one.

Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build for Cataclysm

Being a Death Knight, you have several different play styles to choose from while leveling, but my personal favorite is the Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build. This is one of the most powerful Leveling specs for DK's but not many people know how to truly unlock the potential of this spec. Read on, and you will discover all the most powerful secrets to help you reach level 85 in no time using an Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build.

Why choose an Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build?

Unholy has some unique survivability techniques and abilities that you can't really find in other Death Knight Specs. First, you get to choose your passive movement ability early in Improved Unholy Presence. Normally you would have to wait until level 70, but with an Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build, you can spec into the movement increase before you ever finish the DK starting quests. Second, your ghoul adds some impressive DPS, but where it helps while leveling, is the added survivability in stuns and tanking for you. Desecration also helps you burn down on a portion of a mob's health, while you chain pull and your diseases, Unholy Blight, and ghoul finish them off. This essentially allows you to do more work in half the time. This takes some practice, but when you get it down, the Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build pulls way ahead of any other leveling build.

Talents for an Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build

Essentially you want to fill out all the talent points in the Unholy tree except Resilient Infection, Death's Advance, Unholy Frenzy, Magic Suppression, and Anti-Magic Zone. You have the option to sub-spec into Blood or Frost. Blood will give you extra DPS and Runic Power through Bladed Armor, Butchery, and Scent of Blood. A Frost Sub spec will give you extra survivability through the Lichborne Talent. When you become Undead with this ability, you can cast Death Coil on yourself for some powerful heals. The increased damage and healing to Deah Coil make this an excellent sub-spec for an Unholy DK Leveling Build

Glyphs for an Unholy Death Knight Leveling Build

The Glyphs you choose can be just as important as the talent points you choose. Your prime glyphs will be the same regardless of your spec. You want to choose Death Coil, Raise Dead, and Scourge Strike to buff your most powerful abilities. For your major glyphs, my personal preference is Pestilence, Death Grip, and Dark Succor. Dark Succor is an important healing mechanic, while increased Range to Pestilence and Death Grip give you some more chain pulling capability. Your Minor glyphs will depend a little bit on the sub-spec for your Unholy Leveling Build. If you sub-spec Frost for Lichborne, you definitely want Death's Embrace so you get a half price self heal. If you sub-spec Blood, your choices are Horn of Winter, Path of Frost, and Blood Tap for the extra rune.

Overall, this should be a good start for Leveling your Death Knight in World of Warcraft. However, without the proper questing route, you're simply grinding, and that is one of the slowest ways to level. There are leveling guides available that already have all the best leveling routes for any race and class.
